For a long time sick, this morning is dead in Rome Gil Rossellini. Rewardered director of documentaries, he had married Argo project with enthusiasm since from its foundation. Gil has been a sponsor and an untiring contributor: he take parte as writer of the book "Argo. A modern history, beyond sailing" and he was developing the concept of a film-documentary on the Argo challenge to the America’s Cup of a disabled crew. 

The contribution of Gil has been real and tangible, for this reason many of us have a true memory of the man and colleague Gil. The project will still continue today with greater determination in his memory: "Why do you need to walk if you can sail? " (citation from his writing in the Argo book).
